About Me

And what do I do ...

As a Product Designer, my approach is rooted in the Lean UX methodology, with a focus on meeting the needs and experiences of the user. To achieve this, I start by conducting extensive user research and interviews, gathering insights that help to identify user problems and use cases. From there, I create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that define the structure and functionality of the product, which are then tested with users to ensure that they are effective.

In addition to prioritizing user experience, I understand the importance of balancing design aesthetics with business requirements, such as budget and time constraints. This requires close collaboration with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that designs are feasible and practical, and can be implemented within the constraints of the organization's resources and timeline.

To help streamline the design process, I also focus on creating design systems and a consistent visual language. This helps to reduce friction and improve the overall user experience, making products easy, efficient, and enjoyable to interact with.

To sum it up, my goal as a Product Designer is to create effective products that meet user needs while also being visually appealing, feasible, and practical to develop. By prioritizing user experience and collaborating closely with stakeholders, I am able to create products that truly make a difference.

Matt Sartor - Sr. Director, Partner Success, Americas

Sagnik was a hard working, well respected member of our design team, eager to help, and always reliable in a pinch. His throughput of work was among the highest on the team, and though he was able to deliver more than most within a given amount of time, he did so without sacrificing quality. Further, he truly cared about his work. along with the people and the company that he worked for and with. I'd definitely work with him again.

Billy Hollis - Director of UX at Indeed

Sagnik is an excellent designer. He builds thoughtful and engaging experiences for all devices. I've seen him tackle massive projects for Fortune 500 Companies like Best Buy, Walmart, HP and countless others. He's decisive and intuitive. If you need a project done right and done with perfection, this is your guy.

Kim Martinez - Services + Project Operations

During my 4+ years at Bazaarvoice as a project manager, I had the pleasure of working alongside Sagnik for a number of high profile projects. Sagnik is known as a designer that embraces a client's vision, can read between the lines, works in sync with team members and third parties, and over delivers on a regular basis. His work is impeccable and inspiring. He is pragmatic and communicates effectively from project team to executives. It's no joke when I say that Sagnik will design it and you will like it. He's also comfortable with troubleshooting, reviewing code and how it's working (or not working) with the design, and the overall dynamics and life-cycle of a project. If I had it my way, I would definitely work with Sagnik again.
